How does pricing work for independent teachers?
Classwire for teachers is $99/year or $12/month — your choice. Both plans include unlimited classes, registrations, payment tracking, attendance, and family portals. No free trial, but at $12/month you can try it with zero long-term commitment.
How does school pricing work?
Classwire Schools uses banded pricing based on enrollment at the start of each school year. For example, a school with 50 students pays $1,550/year. The price stays the same for the full year even if a student joins or withdraws mid-year — it only adjusts at the next school year. Schedule a demo to get started.
Can I pass the processing fees on to families?
Yes. In your payment settings you can toggle whether processing fees are passed on to families at checkout or absorbed from your payout. When fees are passed through, families pay a slightly higher amount and you receive the full tuition or fee amount you set.
When do I receive payouts from online payments?
Stripe typically deposits funds to your linked bank account within 2 business days of a successful payment. ACH transfers may take 3–5 business days to settle.
What if families prefer to pay by check or cash?
No problem — you can manually record any payment in Classwire. There's no fee for manual payments. The family's balance and payment status update immediately.
